What it's for
Use it to make sure every store deposits all its cash: Balance is Total Cash minus Deposited to Bank. A balance that stays above zero means cash not yet deposited.
Branch C shows for 12 June Total Cash 36,400.00 and Deposited to Bank 30,000.00: Balance 6,400.00. The area manager asks the branch for the missing deposit slip.
