Maximum login attempts
Choices: Number
How many wrong passwords a user may enter before the account is blocked. The count starts again each day and after a successful sign-in. A blocked user can't sign in until an administrator opens Data › User and uses Reset Login Retries on that user. Set 0 for no limit. The superadmin account is never blocked.
Password auto expired in no. of days (set as 0 to ignore expiration)

After this many days since a user last changed their password, CIRMS asks them to set a new password when they sign in. Administrator accounts are never asked. 0 = passwords never expire.

Require 8 characters and must consist of at least: 1 character, 1 number, and 1 special character?
Choices: Yes / No
- Yes: new passwords must have at least 8 characters, including a letter, a number and a special character. The Change Password window lists these rules.
- No: new passwords only need at least 6 characters.
Existing passwords keep working; the rule applies when a password is changed.

Refrain users to use their old passwords?
Choices: Yes / No
- Yes: when users change their password, they can't reuse any of their last 4 passwords.
- No: only the current password is refused as the new one.

Protect Sheet with Password for Export to Excel Output? — To modify the content of a password protected sheet, unprotect the sheet using the right password then move (or remove the entire) watermark image in order for the cells to be editable. Password
Choices: Yes / No
- Yes: enter a password. Every Excel file exported from lists and reports is protected with it: users can open and read the file, but must unprotect the sheet with this password before editing.
- No: exported Excel files are not protected.
