Product Sales Quantity and Profit Report
Shows, for a date range, how many of each product were sold, for how much, at what cost and with how much profit.

What it's for
Use it to find your best and least profitable products, to check margins after a price change, and to compare back-office sales with POS sales (choose them in Show List By).
The owner runs it for last month, all branches, sorted by Total Profit descending. Softdrink 1.5 L is first in quantity (2,400 sold) but its Total Profit Percentage is only 6%, while Ice Cream 1 L sold 300 at 28%. He decides to move the ice cream freezer to the entrance.
Options on the screen
- From / To and Branch: the period and branches.
- Show List By: all sales, or only Sales Outbound, Sales Return Inbound or POS Sales.
- Product: all products, or only those with sales in the period.
Filters
Click Filters to narrow the report. You can filter by:
Stock No., Unit Barcode, Name, Chinese Name, Status, Default Supplier, Supplier, Category Tag, Category, Brand, Branch Area, Date Created, Last Modified, Group Type, Deleted, Last PI Date, Last SO Date.
Columns
| Column | What it shows |

| Name | The product name. |
| Parent Category | The category one level above the product's category. |
| Supplier | The product's default supplier. |
| Status | The product's status: Active, Inactive or Discontinued. |
| Qty | Quantity sold in the date range (returns are deducted). |
| Current Product Cost | The product's purchase price today (not at the time of sale). |
| Current Wholesale Price | The product's wholesale price today. |
| Current Retail Price | The product's retail price today. |
| Total Cost | Cost of the quantity sold. |
| Total Amount | Sales amount in the date range. |
| Total Profit | Total amount minus total cost. |
| Total Profit Percentage | Total profit as a percentage of the total amount. |
| Avg Cost | Total cost ÷ quantity. |
| Avg Price | Total amount ÷ quantity. |
| Avg Profit | Total profit ÷ quantity. |
| Inventory | Current stock, in the product's default unit. |
| Last PI Date | Date of the last purchase inbound of the product. |
| Last PI Qty | Quantity of the last purchase inbound. |
| Last SO Date | Date of the last sales outbound of the product. |
| Last SO Qty | Quantity of the last sales outbound. |
Also shows: Barcode, Stock No., Chinese Name, Description, Brand, Category, Date Created.
