Restrict branches to only be able to view their own price
Set permissions to restrict branches, allowing them to only view their own pricing information for security and privacy.
Choices: Yes / No / Based on user permission
Applies to users signed in to a branch other than the main branch, in the product's price tab:
- Yes: they only see their own branch's prices.
- No: they see all branches' prices.
- Based on user permission: it depends on each user's price-viewing permission.
Users in the main branch always see all prices.

Enable pricing abnormality warnings to alert when the cost exceeds the wholesale or retail price, ensuring accurate pricing management.
Choices: Yes / No / Restrict users to proceed saving/update product changes
When a product is saved, CIRMS checks each branch price for a cost higher than the wholesale or retail price:
- Yes: a warning lists the problem prices; you can still save.
- No: no check.
- Restrict users to proceed saving/update product changes: the warning is shown and the product can't be saved until the prices are fixed.
Affects: Product, Customer Product Summary Report
Markup% computation basis
Choose the basis for the computation of markup percentage, determining whether it's calculated as Fixed Price or Fixed Markup.
Choices: Fixed Price - If cost is changed, markup % will recompute based on the wholesale and retail price. / Fixed Markup - If cost is changed, wholesale and retail price will recompute based on markup %. / Apply also when cost is auto updated during purchase inbound?
What CIRMS recalculates when a product's cost changes:
- Fixed Price: wholesale and retail prices stay; the markup % is recalculated.
- Fixed Markup: the markup % stays; wholesale and retail prices are recalculated (and rounded as set below).
With fixed markup, the extra tick box also recalculates the selling prices when a purchase inbound updates the cost (see Auto-update Product's Purchase Price after approving of Transaction).
