Step by step
- Prepare. Finish and approve all pending receipts and deliveries for the location, so the system stock is up to date. Print a count sheet if you count on paper.
- Count. Record the counted quantities in Others › Physical Inventory Count, one count per location or shelf (Shelf Location). With a handheld scanner, scan in the Data Collector app and import the scans into the count.
- Review. The count shows the difference from the system stock. Recount anything that looks wrong, then approve.
- Update the stock. In the count list, use Convert to Inventory Adjust for the date range of your counts. The resulting inventory adjustments correct the stock.
